›zzet Volkan, who participated in the first General Council meeting of the ICC World Chambers Federation said during the meeting that; “We came together from many different parts of the world to make trade possible for everyone, anytime, anywhere. WCF, an apolitical non-governmental organization, forms the basis of the Chambers Community by combining the global network of 12,000 chambers and the business world connected to these chambers. The World Chambers Federation not only makes chambers more productive, it also strengthens the bond between them. In this role, WCF is a globally unique and genuine forum. WCF activities and projects encompass all chambers established under public and private law as well as local, regional, national and reciprocal. To foster private sector development and increase the chambers' capacities, WCF has developed strong broad ties with multilateral organizations including the World Bank, the United Nations Development Program and regional development banks. I am very proud to represent our country, region and chamber. I believe that taking part in international institutions and organizations is an important opportunity to tell about the potential we have, our experience, and the development and development of our country.”
